The best kind of sessions are the ones that feel like HOME!

When friends trust you with the creative direction for their family shoot-  Part I

It’s fun to change it up for photographs. Instead of heading back to the same location from their last family session, I suggested trying a totally different shoot

for The Siale’s.

I wanted to try a session that felt more like them.

Something they would actually do as family on the weekend. It was about capturing a family as they are, in the spaces they love, doing things that

make them feel connected.

The Siale’s are expecting their 3rd baby any day from now, so this was the perfect opportunity to create some memories and document them as a family, and of course Hannah’s perfectly round bump 😍

I mean she looks ammmmaaazzing for 38 weeks!!

We met up at our local cafe @alioke_eatery at 7.30am, grabbed takeaways, snuck some photos outside in the courtyard and then headed off for a wander. The coolest thing, is The Siale’s home is literally across the paddock from their photos.

So it really was for them like HOME!

Coffees in hand, cute biscuits for the girls, zooming around the field pretending you’re off to Time Zone, walks over the bridge to go visit the eels. Cuddles with Mum, Creating echos under the bridge…. This is the real stuff of family…

These are the kinds of details that often go unphotographed, yet they are core memories of everyday life that matter!!

I honestly LOVED this session. It felt so natural, relaxed and easy
