When it comes to planning a location for your family or maternity shoot, I love to find out a little about your family, what your vision might be for the photos. What do you imagine when you think of your family photos...often with a bit of brainstorming this is directs the location of the shoot. I really love to try not repeat locations too much, so that way each family I photograph has a different location that isn't too similar.
I always try my best to get sneak peak photos to you within the first 48 hours, and you will receive them anywhere within 3-5 weeks after your photoshoot.
I am based in sunny Nelson. I can travel at an additional cost.
I always check first before sharing any of my images online.
If you're happy for your photographs to be shared, I love to share a small amount of photographs telling a brief visual story. This is a wonderful way for me to showcase my recent work.
My style of photography is a relaxed, fun approach. I am a people person so always make an effort to connect before we start photographing.
I like to make it sort of a family adventure that becomes a special memory when you look back on the photos. Yes I will pose & direct you at times for photographs, and then I will also follow your lead to capture the moments that begin to unfold. The goal is to draw out your children, your families joyful emotion and tell a visual story of you all that reflects your family.... and I always bring a wee treat for the littles for the end of the session. The delight on their faces is the best!
