Friday evening was spent capturing the amazing and down to earth Talley Family.

I actually photographed Felicity with the two oldest boys 7 years ago when they just little toddlers, so it was such a treat to see them again and an honour to capture the entire family this time.

Milan & Felicity’s kids were the highlight of the session.

They were extra hyped when I showed them the bag of jet planes I’d bought for bribery during the shoot. Issac managed to sneak the bag from my back pocket and race off down the lawn, with Dad and the siblings running after him to retrieve the lollies 🤣🫣 these moments reminded me of my own family. The realness of family life with kids. Their wild and crazy and It’s actually amazing seeing their big personalities shine in photos 🥹

I left their shoot filled to the brim of what a joyous time I had documenting them at home and then finishing at the beach… I can’t forget to mention the final photo was the kids and Milan jumping into the pool fully clothed 🫣😝 ( another photo for another post! )

I was reminded while messaging Felicity afterwards, that family shoots require you to humble yourself to be a little silly and embrace the real and rawness of family.

Photoshoots aren’t just for looking pretty & posing, they’re a moment to let down your hair, let kids be themselves and create a core memory for your kids to remember forever
